I chose media because unlike other courses it has many different topics involving film, tv, magazines and music. I have always wanted to do media and now is my chance, I chose media as a GCSE option but sadly my school put me in business instead but some parts of business is somewhat like media, making adverts. during my GCSE year my friend chose media and some lunches and after school I would help her with some work and just sit with her while I did other work and she would talk about some things she was learning, this also encouraged me to do media also.

I have always been the kind of person to sit inside and watch something or read a book rather than going out, I have always appreciated the cinematography of a film. after college I hope to go to university and study media, film and tv in Nottingham, in hopes to become a director or something else to do in the film or tv industry. my uncle is friends with some of the people from 'red hot chilli peppers' and the technician from 'bring me the horizon' and he has told me lots of things about them and what they have told him what has drawn me to the music side also. I also love the fact you can make a whole song from a sentence and a simple beat.
